Red Dot Communications traces its beginnings to the spring of 1989 when two people and one computer set up shop in a rented room above a garage. Since then, Red Dot has grown into a full-service marketing and communications company with annual gross billings approaching $1,000,000.

The Principles

Debbie Peretz, Creative Director, Graphic Designer

Following an 18-year stint with two of Madison Avenue’s “Hot Creative Shops,” Mathieu, Gerfen & Bresner and Rumrill-Hoyt, Debbie worked with James Heekin Associates of Williamstown, Massachusetts. While in New York, Debbie garnered awards from The Art Directors Club, The One-Show and an Off-Premise Award for her work on the New York City Opera, Bacardi Imports and Papillion Wine accounts. Since moving permanently to her then ski house in Bondville, Vermont, Debbie has served the community as President of Vermont-New Hampshire Susan G. Komen for the Cure and donates pro bono work for a number of schools, regional charities and non-profits.

 

Cynsie Broda, Marketing Director and Account Services

Cynsie was with Stratton Mountain Resort from 1996 through 2008.  As Stratton’s Advertising Manager, she was responsible for the management of four-season media campaigns including major media buys throughout the northeast, creative direction and production for in-market and in-resort communications including: print, radio, TV, outdoor, direct mail, email, trade show displays, point of purchase and printed collateral and brochures. Since joining the team at Red Dot, Cynsie has expanded her media experience to all things digital and has become an advocate for digital marketing due to the speed and flexibility of the messaging and the analytics and reporting that she can provide to our clients.  She is our primary lead on most of our major accounts as her organizational skills are second to none and her acute business sense keeps budgets and schedules on track and running smoothly.

 

Michael Hudson, Co-Creative Director, Senior Copywriter, Public Relations

Writer Michael Hudson has been with the company since 1995.  Prior to his relocation from Manhattan in 1984, Michael was with literary agency Curtis Brown, Ltd. and the Bob Waters Agency, a theatrical agency, where he specialized in commercial talent.  He also spent a short while in radio, in Boston. Between 1984 and 1995, Michael was a freelance copywriter as well as Creative Director and Copywriter at Kimball Hill Advertising.  Michael’s passion for great copywriting has become legendary with his colleagues and the clients of Red Dot Communications.  In the 18 years that Michael has worked with Red Dot, he has never failed to come up with fresh, relevant and targeted headlines and copy.
